According to my A-ma (Lola in Chinese), eating shabu shabu in China si normally done only during winter. I remember asking her to eat shabu shabu with us during summer this year, and she laughed and called us crazy.
Shabu-shabu is wherein you cook your food in boiled stock in front of you. Sauces are prepared to enhance the taste of your boiled food.
The restaurant, Shabu Shabu, has always been one of my favorite places to eat. I reccommend you try their Seafood Platter B, which consists of salmon fillets, scallops, prawns, and fish fillet, together with a vegetable platter. For a good price of Php 650, you will surely stuff yourself with healthy food.
