Hors d' Oerves

Balducci's located at the heart of Serendra is my favorite authentic Italian restaurant. Of course it is nothing like Cibo and Italiannis, Balducci's is a more formal place. It caters hors d' oerves to it's customers such as bread and pita bread, with your choice of 2 dips: butter, tomato and liver pate. Delicious? Very. I especially enjoy the liver pate. It has a creamy texture and is very flavorful. It's not dry nor is it coarse.

Truffle Pasta and Salmon Ravioli

For the main course, I love their truffle pasta. Although not everyone enjoys the earthy taste of truffles, I do! The truffle pasta is very creamy and flavorful. You can taste the truffles as you eat and chew the pasta. The more you eat, the more you can't stop. It's something you cannot find in all other Italian restaurants in the mall. Uniquely made. Their salmon ravioli is quite exquisite as well. The pasta is made fresh, although we encountered an instance wherein there was still pinbones on the salmon meat. Nonetheless, still delicious and flavorful.

Balducci's has a very warm and cozy ambiance. It presents an authentic Italian setting which has a bar, wine cellar, everything. Servers are quite friendly as well.

Given the chance, do try this authentic Italian restaurant. It's not something you can find everyday and just anywhere. Quite pricey compared to other Italian food chains. Nonetheless, worth every single penny.
